- customs office at which a guarantee used for customs transit is lodged and administered, including registration/management of the guarantee reference number (GRN) and reference amount

- Used in Union/common transit. Distinct from offices handling the movement: office of departure, office of transit, office of destination. In declarations/guarantee undertakings, reference this office with its official office code (e.g., national/EU office code list).
