- a party entitled to receive payment, goods, services, or other benefits under the terms of a trade transaction or financial instrument
Anmärkning
- In the context of a documentary credit, the beneficiary is usually the seller or exporter in whose favour the credit is issued, and who must present the required documents to obtain payment.
