Definition
- a globally unique identifier assigned to a consignment to enable consistent referencing and tracking across the international supply chain, customs declarations, transport documents, and regulatory filings
Anmärkning
- The UCR is recommended by the WCO SAFE Framework and Data Model as a standard reference for consignments, supporting risk assessment, supply chain security, and trade facilitation. It is normally generated by the trader or their agent at the time of export.
