Definition
- a natural person, legal person or group of such persons, including temporary associations of undertakings, when acting in a commercial or professional capacity for purposes related to their trade, business, craft or profession
Note
- An economic operator can also be defined as a legal entity which is engaged in economic activities aka "doing business". For instance natural persons "acting in a commercial or professional capacity" are considered legal entities due to their "business role" (sole traders or self-employed persons).
