Definition
- Question: should we skip this term-suggestion and just use the ISA2 Core "legal identifier"?
Note
- IF we stick to this term we should be clear on it's meaning > is "registration number" the same as a "business ID" or "company ID" or "company code" or just simply "legal identifier" or "unique identifier"? Which term do we actually prefer?
Should this be the "organisationsnummer" that most countries issue to a registered organization ("company")? In the Finnish PRH API this is called "businessID" (Y-tunnus = FO-nummer = "företags- och organisationsnummer"), whereas "registration number" is reserved for the older "kaupparekisterinumero" = "handelsregisternummer". Any similar problems in the other national registries?
